It might have started with them young kids not finishing those burgers after the fries and the kids grow up to Like or Love the taste and texture of the fries in burger meaLs.

How to eat French fries:

Deep fried crispy crunchy yummy fries in so many shapes don't stay Hot for long.

Some people start eating halfway thru the fries first, Then back and forth with the burger and finish off the french fries after the burger, And there are eating style like put fries on top of burger.

Most people eat their fries dipped in sweet, sour, spicy, creamy, sauces etc.

Something like Mayonnaise, Ketchup , Gravy , BBQ Sause , Honey Mustard, Ranch dressing or even Thick Chocolate Shake or Ice Cream. French fries can be eaten plain too, the salt and sugar in it does give good taste on its own.
